About The Author

has over 25  experience  the fashion industry  a patternmaker. Her experience includes assistant production management and production pattern making for Marian Clayden Inc. and Pacific Rim Manufacturing. Knowles  a former instructor  West Valley College  the Fashion Design and Apparel Technology Department. She  currently the owner  Lori Ann Design  Ferndale , and works  a freelance patternmaker with Left  Stitches, Castle ware and many other companies. Her area  interest  research  the history and construction  clothing and she maintains a collection  vintage clothing from the 1840's  the 1940's.
