What the tool calculates

• Fabric consumption: estimated metres per garment, adjusted for size, fabric width, print matching, wastage and shrinkage.

• Fabric and trims: main fabric, lining, buttons, zippers, labels and hardware.

• Embellishment: embroidery, printing or other additional treatments.

• Stitching time: estimated Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM), with an editable operation-by-operation breakdown.

• Labour cost: based on stitching minutes and your hourly labour rate.

• Complete garment cost: cutting, finishing, quality control, overhead, packaging, sampling and rejection allowance.

• Pricing: gross margin, markup, target selling price and allowable product cost.

• Exports: downloadable costing CSV and project JSON.

How to use it

1. Upload a garment image.

2. Select the garment type, size and fabric details.

3. Enter the selling price or choose the margin/markup approach.

4. Change fabric rates and labour costs to match your Indian supplier and factory quotations.

5. Review the consumption estimate, stitching time and cost breakdown.

6. Export the costing sheet.
