The organization of the text us very good. The instruction starts with how to select the correct sized pattern, how to fit it, adjust and design it, to the finished product.
This is an excellent book on pattern-making for those who have a fair idea already and well-worth the investment. The designs are authentic 1930s- 1940's for those interested in vintage clothing but of course, so much of it can be incorporated into modern designs. It's also fascinating from a historical point of view. But this is a book written for those who have a solid understanding of patternmaking and sewing.
